Guam football fans, get ready! A group of former and current San Francisco 49ers will be visiting Guam for a Youth Football Clinic on March 16th and a Charity Golf Tournament on March 17th. Former All-Pros, Eric Wright & Dana McLemore, will be making the trip to Guam along with other former teammates who helped win Superbowls for the 49ers, as well as several current players who recently played in Superbowl 47!

Guam will play host to a group of former and current San Francisco 49er players, as they conduct a Free Youth Football Clinic and Charity Golf Tournament to benefit various sports charities.

On Saturday, March 16th, the 49ers will conduct a Free Youth Clinic at The UOG Field in Mangilao from 11am - 1pm prior to the Championship Game of The Miller Football League (MFL), Guam's premier adult football league. The 49er players will also be assisted by some of the stars of the MFL.

Registration and Orientation will begin at 9am at the UOG Field for players from the age of 5 - 14 years old. Participants will have the opportunity to workout and interact with former Superbowl winners and current NFL players who recently experienced Superbowl 47 playing for The NFC Champion 49er Team.

On Sunday, March 17th, Tee-Time will be at 12:30pm at the Leo Palace Golf Course for The Guam 49er Charity Golf Tournament, where golfers will be given the chance to meet and greet with the 49ers as they share some time on the course with the American-Football stars proceeded by a banquet with the Niners, where more prizes and 49er merchandise will be raffled away to benefit various sports charities.

The Guam 49er Weekend is presented by Calvo Enterprises Inc., Mid-Pac Distributors, Island Wines & Spirits,  PIC Resort, Cars Plus, Gatorade, the Stations of KUAM and The Guam Visitor's Bureau. Non-profit organizations that will benefit from the Guam 49er Weekend include the Guam National Youth Football Federation, Guam Football Players & Coaches Association, and the Guam Basketball Confederation.

Cam Johnson plays linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers. He attended the University of Virginia through a scholarship and played from 2008-2011. As a Cavalier he recorded 130 tackles and 12.5 sacks, while starting 34 out of 42 games. He was drafted in 2012 by the San Francisco 49ers and is a member of the 49ers Super Bowl 47 team.

Tony Jerod-Eddie is a defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers and is a member of the 49ers SuperBowl 47 Team.. He attended Texas A&M University, where he recorded 147 tackles and 7 sacks. He was signed by the 49ers as an undrafted free agent and was promoted to the active roster on December 28th, 2012 for the 49ers playoff run. 

Michael Thomas is a rookie safety for the San Francisco 49ers and is a member of the 49ers SuperBowl 47 Team. He attended Stanford University for 4 years, where he played under Jim Harbaugh his first 2 years. At Stanford he recorded 189 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 5 interceptions. He signed with the 49ers on May 4th, 2012.

John Paye is a former back-up quarterback out of Stanford with the San Francisco 49ers behind Joe Montana and Steve Young. Paye earned his SuperBowl 23 Ring when the 49ers beat the Bengals on a last second TD pass from Montana to John Taylor.

Dana McLemore is a former defensive back out of The University of Hawaii for the 49ers where he was the 49ers all-timeme leading kick-off returner. Dana is also a member of the San Francisco 49ers SuperBowl 19 winning team.

Eric Wright is a former cornerback for the San Francisco 49ers. He attended the University of Missouri where he was an all-Big Eight defensive back in 1979 and 1980. He played on three University of Missouri teams that appeared in bowl games. To go along with his selection to Missouri’s all-century team, he holds the Missouri record for the most interceptions in a game. He was drafted by the 49ers in 1981 as a second rounder and played 10 great seasons for the 49ers. Considered one of the best cover cornerbacks of his day, Wright was selected to 2 Pro Bowls (1984, 1985), 2 All Pro Teams (1984, 1985) and started on four Super Bowl-winning teams. He ended his career with 18 interceptions, 256 interception yards, and 2 touchdowns.
