PXC-52 to feature 10 fights on March 18, 2016!

PXC-52 will feature a stacked card of 10 premier matchups on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the UOG Calvo Fieldhouse. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and the first fight of the night will begin at 7:30PM.

Barrigada, Guam (March 11, 2016) – PXC-52 will feature a stacked card of 10 premier matchups on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the UOG Calvo Fieldhouse. Doors will open at 5:30 PM and the first fight of the night will begin at 7:30PM.

Bantamweight Bout: Trevin Jones (Guam) vs. Jeremiah Labiano (USA)

Trevin Jones aims to claim his spot as the number 1 bantamweight contender when he faces West coast striker Jeremiah Labiano. Jones is coming off a decision win over the dangerous Mark Abelardo and looks to cement a title shot with a victory at PXC 52.

Labiano boasts a 9 and 3 record and holds a win over former PXC flyweight champion Alvin Cacdac. The northern California native looks to make an immediate impact on the bantamweight division at PXC-52.

Heavyweight Bout: Roque Martinez (Guam) vs. Takaaki Oban (Japan)

After a 3 year hiatus from PXC, the former heavyweight champion Roque Martinez, makes his long awaited return. Martinez is on a 3 fight winning streak and looks to continue it on March 18th. Martinez holds an 8-4 record. Martinez’s opponent is Takaaki Oban of Japan. The submission specialist from Japan has a record of 8-4-2 and looks to out work Martinez. Oban is a crafty jiu jitsu practitioner with a 75% finish rate in MMA competition.

The card will showcase fellow female Guamanian, Tessa Simpson, as she makes her promotional debut at 105 lbs. facing off against Simpson is the veteran Japanese fighter, Satomi Takano. Stay tuned for more information on these bouts plus more!
